Finishing it up!

Back View

Cadets have now started doing their flight test, which is the last flight they do to complete the course! All summer cadets have been preparing for this big moment, first flying with an instructor and learning how to fly then next going solo to practice everything they learned thus far. The flight test sums up everything they learned so far and ensure they have the know how to not only fly but how to correct for any sudden changes that may occur wither it be the winds or a change in runways, cadets always have to be prepared!

The big exam!

Studying For TCCadets have reached a huge milestone of the course, the Transport Canada exam! They have been preparing for this exam all summer long, as it, along with their flight test, enables them to obtain their wings.

In order to write this exam, cadets must complete their ground school, which consists of seven subjects, a portion of their flying training as well as be recommended by the Chief Ground School Instructor(CGI).

Other than in-class ground school, cadets have mandatory study for one hour every night of the week except for weekends They are also encouraged to study when they have any free time. Cadets have also been preparing for their exam by attending review classes as well as one-on-one study time with their instructors. Cadets have also been completing practice Transport Canada exams to know what to expect.
